# AI-powered freight pricing and transportation management

> CargoCloud is an AI-native freight platform. An AI pricing agent quotes and negotiates by chat and email, and the platform executes the full workflow from quote to invoice.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/

CargoCloud is a freight platform built AI-first. An AI pricing agent generates
margin-aware quotes over chat and email, negotiation happens with real-time
margin impact, and accepted quotes flow straight into execution: orders, trips,
dispatch, driver tracking, documents, and invoicing — one system, end to end.

## What CargoCloud does

- **[AI Pricing Agent](/product/pricing-agent/)** — Claude-powered quote
generation across service types, with an FTL and partial-load rate engine and
 interactive negotiation.
- **[Email Operations](/product/email-agent/)** — an autonomous inbox agent
that reads quote requests as they arrive by email and replies with priced,
 branded quotes.
- **[TMS Execution](/product/tms/)** — quote-to-order booking, multi-stop
trips, consolidation planning, dispatch by email and SMS, a driver portal,
 and generated shipping documents.
- **[Pricing Intelligence](/product/pricing-intelligence/)** — pricing-profile
overlays plus behavioral pricing learned from each relationship's own quote
 history.
- **[Back-Office Agents](/product/back-office-agents/)** — invoicing, tracking,
and follow-up agents that run on approval-gated, auditable rails.
- **[The Network](/network/)** — a multi-tenant network of shippers, carriers,
and brokers; every counterparty gets an organization record they can claim.

## Who it's for

- **[Shippers](/shippers/)** — request quotes by email or chat, track
shipments, and keep documents in one place.
- **[Carriers](/carriers/)** — manage equipment, drivers, dispatch, and driver
 pay from a single system.
- **[Brokers](/brokers/)** — run the full pricing-to-invoice cycle with AI
 handling the repetitive work.

## Built for AI agents too

CargoCloud treats software agents as first-class visitors. Every page on this
site has a markdown mirror (append `.md` to the path), the site index lives at
[/llms.txt](/llms.txt), and email-based quoting means an agent that can send
email can already request freight quotes from CargoCloud tenants today. See
[For AI agents](/agents/).

## Already on the network?

If your business has transacted with a CargoCloud tenant, an organization
record for it likely already exists — with your real quote and shipment
history. [Claim your business](/claim/) to take ownership of it.

# AI Pricing Agent

> A Claude-powered pricing agent that generates margin-aware freight quotes across service types, negotiates counter-offers with real-time margin impact, and works over chat or email.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/product/pricing-agent/

CargoCloud's pricing agent turns a plain-language request — typed into chat or
extracted from an email — into a complete, margin-aware freight quote priced
from your own rates.

## What it does

- **AI-assisted quote generation** across service types, with weight and
 dimensional pricing and profile-based adjustments.
- **FTL and partial-load pricing as the primary path** — lane anchors drive
both full-truckload rates and the partial-load curve, and accessorials
support weight-based, percentage, and per-unit methods.
- **Document and email extraction** — the agent reads quote requests out of
emails and attached documents, so requests don't need to arrive in a form.
- **Multi-shipment and comparison quoting** — quote several shipments in one
conversation and compare options side by side.
- **Organization-scoped and fail-closed** — the agent prices only from the
tenant's own pricing configuration. If it can't resolve a rate it says so
 rather than guessing.

## Negotiation built in

Counter-offers are part of the workflow, not an email thread on the side.
Buyers can counter a quote, sellers see the real-time margin impact of each
round, and negotiations are capped at three rounds so they conclude instead of
drifting.

## Two channels, one agent

The same pricing brain works in two places:

1. **In-app chat** — an interactive quoting assistant inside CargoCloud.
2. **[Email](/product/email-agent/)** — an autonomous inbox agent that answers
quote-request emails with priced, branded replies.

## From quote to execution

An accepted quote doesn't end at a number. It books into an order and flows
through [trips, dispatch, tracking, and invoicing](/product/tms/) in the same
platform.

---

# Email Operations

> An autonomous email agent that ingests quote requests at commercial scale, prices them with the AI pricing agent, and replies with branded quotes — with durable queues, retries, and loop protection.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/product/email-agent/

Freight still runs on email. CargoCloud meets it there: connect a tenant inbox
and an autonomous agent reads incoming quote requests, prices them, and replies
— without a human touching the thread unless they want to.

## What it does

- **Push-driven ingestion** — inbound mail arrives via Gmail push notifications
or AgentMail webhooks, not polling, so requests are picked up as they land.
- **Built for commercial volume** — a durable queue with a gated worker pool,
retry with backoff, and a dead-letter queue; the pipeline is load-tested and
 instrumented with metrics.
- **Understands real-world email** — extracts shipment details from message
bodies and attachments, and handles multi-shipment requests.
- **Branded, clean replies** — quote replies use polished, branded formatting,
and a structural sanitizer keeps the agent's internal reasoning out of
 customer-facing prose.
- **Safe in the wild** — bounce and auto-reply loop protection and
thread-integrity safeguards keep automated conversations from spiraling.

## Humans stay in control

Every conversation is visible in the platform. Operators can watch the agent
work, take over any thread, reply manually, and resolve conversations — the
agent handles the routine so people can handle the exceptions.

## This is agent-to-agent freight, today

Because the interface is email, the counterparty doesn't need CargoCloud — or
to be human. Any system or AI agent that can send a well-formed email can
request a quote from a CargoCloud tenant and get a priced reply. See
[For AI agents](/agents/) for how to structure a request.

# TMS Execution

> Quote-to-order booking, multi-stop trips with route-optimized consolidation, dispatch by email and SMS, a secure driver portal, generated shipping documents, and AI-verified proof of delivery.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/product/tms/

Quoting is where CargoCloud starts, not where it stops. The platform executes
the whole shipment lifecycle: booking, trip building, dispatch, in-transit
tracking, documents, and invoicing.

## Booking and orders

An accepted quote books into an order with a register-based financial
architecture underneath — costs, revenue, and settlements are tracked per
order, with role-based redaction so each party sees what they should.

## Trips and consolidation

- Trips carry one order or many, with sequenced multi-stop support and
 per-stop mileage.
- The **Consolidation Planner** finds candidate orders that can share a truck
and assembles multi-stop options, backed by Google's Route Optimization API
with cost allocated across the partial loads on the trip.

## Dispatch and drivers

- Dispatch reaches carriers and drivers over **email and SMS** — SMS runs on an
approved A2P messaging campaign, verified live in production.
- Drivers work from a **secure, tokenized portal link**: GPS location pings,
freight photos, document capture, two-way messaging with dispatch, itemized
expense submission with receipts, and per-driver pay statements.

## Tracking

Computed ETAs with on-time, late, and no-data flags; order-level flags for
missing documents, detention, and holdovers; and driver events that move
shipment status automatically. A [tracking agent](/product/back-office-agents/)
escalates trouble on a graduated ladder.

## Documents and verification

BOLs, rate confirmations, manifests, invoices, and driver settlements are
generated server-side as PDFs — and delivery paperwork (PODs and BOLs) is
verified by an AI model before invoicing relies on it.

## Invoicing

Draft invoices are created automatically on delivery, with a register-based
generation path, carrier and driver settlement documents, and an
[autonomous invoicing agent](/product/back-office-agents/) that sends
ready invoices and escalates blocked ones.

# Pricing Intelligence

> Pricing-profile overlays with per-lane authoring, plus behavioral pricing — relationship-scoped price elasticity learned from each buyer's own decided-quote history, always behind human approval.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/product/pricing-intelligence/

Most pricing tools stop at a rate table. CargoCloud layers intelligence on top
of your rates — and keeps a human in charge of every change.

## Pricing-profile overlays

Float and pin overlays adjust pricing profiles without rewriting them, with a
per-lane volumetric authoring UI for fine-grained control over where and how
adjustments apply.

## Behavioral pricing

CargoCloud learns **relationship-scoped price elasticity**: how each specific
buyer responds to price, based on that buyer's own history of accepted and
rejected quotes — not industry averages.

- **Grounded in decided quotes** — the signal comes from real accept/reject
 outcomes in your own data.
- **Shadow mode first** — proposed adjustments run in shadow before they ever
 touch a live price.
- **Human-approved** — an admin review and approval UI gates every profile;
 nothing reprices silently.
- **Maintained automatically** — graduated profile refresh, drift alerts, and
proposal history with auto-close keep the intelligence current without
 manual babysitting.

## The Pricing Analyst agent

A pricing analyst agent works alongside your team with partial-pricing tools
and read-only geography tools (ZIP-radius, state ZIP-prefix, county and
bounding-box lookups) for correlating lane-pricing coverage with geography —
useful for finding the gaps in your rate coverage before your customers do.

## Where this is going

Every quote, negotiation round, and outcome on the network adds to a body of
decided-transaction data — the foundation for market-rate intelligence that
CargoCloud plans to offer claimed organizations. [Claim your business](/claim/)
to be part of it.

# Back-Office Agents

> Autonomous invoicing, tracking, and follow-up agents that are deterministic where money moves, escalate to humans by design, and log every decision for audit.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/product/back-office-agents/

CargoCloud's operational agents are built the way freight back offices actually
need them: deterministic where money moves, conservative by default, and
auditable end to end.

## Invoicing agent

- Watches for invoices that are ready to send: delivered order, verified proof
 of delivery, resolvable recipient.
- **Sends automatically when everything checks out** — invoice PDF plus the
verified POD, from the tenant's own verified sender address.
- **Escalates instead of guessing** — an unmet requirement raises a single,
deduplicated escalation to the org's admins rather than a wrong send.
- The send decision is **deterministic — no AI model decides where money
moves** — and an idempotency outbox guarantees a customer is never
 double-invoiced.
- Inbound invoice replies thread back into the platform, where a conservative
email agent triages safe intents and escalates anything touching money.

## Tracking agent

- Scans in-transit orders on a schedule for trouble: running late, stale GPS
pings, or no pings at all.
- Responds on a **graduated escalation ladder** — nudge the driver first, then
notify the customer, then escalate to a human — one rung at a time.
- Every decision is logged; idempotency keys ensure overlapping runs never
 double-notify.

## Follow-up and oversight

A follow-up agent keeps quote conversations from going stale, and a QA
dashboard gives administrators oversight of agent conversations and decisions.

## The operating philosophy

Agents propose and act within rails: default-off until an operator enables
them, dry-run modes to preview behavior, human approval where judgment is
required, and full audit logs. Autonomy is earned, not assumed — that's what
makes it safe to hand real operations to software.

# The Network

> CargoCloud is a multi-tenant network of shippers, carriers, and brokers. Every counterparty on a transaction gets an organization record — pre-populated with real activity and ready to claim.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/network/

CargoCloud isn't a single-company tool — it's a transportation management
network. Shippers, carriers, and brokers connect as organizations and transact
with each other through one shared methodology.

## How the network grows

When a CargoCloud tenant transacts with a counterparty — quotes a shipper,
dispatches a carrier, books through a broker — an organization record is
created for the other side of the transaction. That record accumulates real
activity: quotes, orders, shipments, documents.

This means your business may already be on CargoCloud, with your actual
transaction history attached, before you've ever signed up.

## Claimed and unclaimed organizations

- **Unclaimed** — the organization exists as a counterparty record. It can be
quoted and dispatched against, but no one has taken ownership.
- **Claimed** — someone at the business has verified ownership and unlocked
the full platform for that organization: its quote history, orders,
documents, and settings. Carriers and brokers verify with their DOT or MC
 number.

[Claiming is free and verification is straightforward.](/claim/)

## Verified counterparties

Carrier identity on the network is grounded in authoritative data — DOT and MC
numbers are validated against FMCSA-sourced records. In a market where fraud
and double-brokering are real costs, transacting with verified counterparties
matters.

## Where this is going

The network is designed to compound: every transaction enriches the records of
both parties, and each claimed organization brings its own counterparties onto
the network. Richer public profiles and performance surfaces for claimed
organizations are on the roadmap.

# CargoCloud for Shippers

> Request quotes by email or chat and get priced answers fast, negotiate transparently, track shipments in transit, and keep every shipping document in one place.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/shippers/

Shippers on CargoCloud get what they actually want from a freight partner:
fast, priced answers and visibility from pickup to proof of delivery.

## Quotes on your terms

- **Email works** — send a quote request to your CargoCloud-connected provider
the way you already do, and an AI agent prices and answers it. No portal
 required to get a number.
- **Chat works too** — quote interactively in the app across service types,
from full truckload to partial loads.
- **Compare options** — multi-shipment and comparison quoting in one
 conversation.

## Negotiate in the open

Counter a quote and settle on a price in a structured negotiation instead of a
scattered email thread — capped rounds keep it moving.

## See your freight

Booked shipments come with computed ETAs and on-time/late flags, driver GPS
pings while in transit, and automatic alerts when something needs attention.

## Documents, handled

BOLs, rate confirmations, and invoices are generated by the platform, and
proof-of-delivery documents are AI-verified — so the paperwork that reaches
you is complete and matches the shipment.

## Your history, in one place

If you've shipped with a CargoCloud tenant, your organization record — quotes,
orders, documents — already exists. [Claim it](/claim/) to see your own
activity, in one login, across the providers you work with on the network.

---

# CargoCloud for Carriers

> Dispatch by email and SMS, a secure driver portal with GPS and document capture, two-way driver messaging, expense submission, and per-driver pay statements.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/carriers/

CargoCloud gives carriers the operational core of a big fleet's software —
dispatch, driver tools, documents, and pay — without big-fleet overhead.

## Dispatch that reaches drivers

Dispatch goes out over email and SMS on an approved messaging campaign, with
the trip's secure portal link included. Prerequisites are enforced before
dispatch — driver, carrier, cost, and allocation have to be in place — so
trips don't go out half-configured.

## A driver portal that needs no app store

Drivers open a secure, tokenized link — no account creation, no app install:

- GPS location pings while on the trip
- Freight photos and document capture (PODs, BOLs) straight to storage
- Two-way threaded messaging with dispatch
- Itemized expense submission with receipt photos
- Trip mileage and their own approved pay statements

## Pay without spreadsheets

Set per-driver pay configuration, calculate draft statements from actual miles
and approved reimbursable expenses, and approve them to make them visible to
the driver. Pending expenses never touch the books, and payroll is visible
only to your organization.

## Your compliance profile, verified

Carrier organizations are validated against FMCSA-sourced DOT and MC data —
your authority and identity are part of your network profile.

## Already dispatched by a CargoCloud tenant?

Then your carrier organization record already exists on the network.
[Claim it](/claim/) with your DOT or MC number to take ownership.

---

# CargoCloud for Brokers

> Quote with an AI agent over chat and email, negotiate with live margin visibility, consolidate partial loads, dispatch carriers, and let back-office agents handle invoicing and tracking.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/brokers/

Brokers get the deepest cut of CargoCloud: the whole platform working your
margin from first quote to paid invoice.

## Price and win freight

- The [AI pricing agent](/product/pricing-agent/) quotes from your rate
configuration — lane anchors, FTL and partial-load curves, accessorials —
 over chat and [email](/product/email-agent/).
- Your inbox answers itself: quote-request emails come back priced and
 branded, at commercial volume.
- Negotiation shows you the **margin impact of every counter-offer round, live**.

## Price smarter over time

[Pricing intelligence](/product/pricing-intelligence/) layers float/pin
overlays on your profiles and learns each customer's price sensitivity from
their own accept/reject history — with every adjustment behind your approval.

## Fill trucks, not lanes

The Consolidation Planner assembles multi-stop trips from compatible partial
loads with route optimization, and allocates cost across the orders sharing
the truck — the economics of a big operation, sized for yours.

## Execute and get paid

Book accepted quotes into orders, dispatch carriers and drivers by email and
SMS, track in transit with automatic trouble escalation, and let the
[invoicing agent](/product/back-office-agents/) send ready invoices with
verified PODs attached — deterministically, with an audit trail.

## Own your organization

If you broker freight with a CargoCloud tenant today, your organization record
is already on the network. [Claim it](/claim/) with your MC number.

---

# Claim Your Business

> If your company has transacted with a CargoCloud tenant, an organization record with your real activity already exists. Claiming it is free and unlocks the full platform for your team.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/claim/

CargoCloud grows through real transactions. When a tenant quotes, books, or
dispatches with your company, an organization record is created for your side
of the deal — so by the time you arrive, your history may already be waiting.

## What claiming gets you

- **Ownership of your organization** — you control who at your company has
 access, and in what role.
- **Your activity, unlocked** — quotes, orders, shipments, and documents from
 your transactions on the network.
- **The full platform** — quoting tools, dispatch, driver management,
documents, and settings appropriate to your organization type.

## How it works

1. **Sign up** — create a free account at [cargocloud.ai](/login).
2. **Find your organization** — if a counterparty brought your business onto
the network, it's there waiting; select it and start the claim.
3. **Verify ownership** — provide your business contact details and a brief
justification. Carriers and brokers verify with their **DOT or MC number**,
which is checked against FMCSA-sourced records.
4. **Get approved** — a platform administrator reviews the claim. On approval,
 your team owns the organization.

You may claim an organization only if you're authorized to act for that
business — see the [Terms & Conditions](/terms).

## Not on the network yet?

You can still sign up and create your organization from scratch — claiming is
for businesses whose records already exist because a counterparty transacted
with them.

## Why we built it this way

Freight is a network business. Every shipment has at least two parties, and it
never made sense to us that only one of them gets software. Records that
build themselves from real transactions — and are claimable by the businesses
they describe — mean the network arrives pre-populated with the truth.

---

# For AI Agents

> How AI agents can read this site, and how they can request real freight quotes from CargoCloud tenants today via email — with an MCP server on the roadmap for deeper agent-to-agent workflows.

Canonical: https://cargocloud.ai/agents/

CargoCloud is built by people who believe software agents are becoming real
participants in commerce — our own platform runs on them. If you're an agent
(or you build them), here's how to work with us.

## Reading this site

- **Markdown mirrors** — every page here is available as markdown: append
`.md` to the path (this page: [/agents.md](/agents.md)).
- **Site index** — [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) lists every page with a one-line
description; [/llms-full.txt](/llms-full.txt) is the whole site in one
 document.
- **Structured data** — pages carry JSON-LD (Organization, SoftwareApplication,
Service, breadcrumbs); the machine sitemap is at
 [/sitemap-index.xml](/sitemap-index.xml).

## Transacting with CargoCloud tenants — today

The live agent-to-agent channel is **email**. CargoCloud tenants operate
AI-managed inboxes: mail a quote request to a tenant's connected address and
an autonomous agent parses it, prices it from the tenant's own rates, and
replies with a quote. No API key, no account, no SDK — if your agent can send
email, it can request freight quotes.

A parseable quote request includes:

- **Origin and destination** — city/state or ZIP
- **Freight details** — weight, dimensions or piece count, and commodity
- **Service type** — e.g. full truckload or partial load, equipment needs
- **Timing** — pickup and delivery dates if you have them

Plain natural language is fine — the agent extracts structure from prose and
attachments. Missing details come back as clarifying questions, and
negotiation happens in-thread with counter-offers.

Each tenant publishes its own quoting address to its customers; if you work
with a business that runs on CargoCloud, use the address they've given you.

## On the roadmap: MCP

We plan to expose CargoCloud's core functions to external agents over the
**Model Context Protocol** — organization-scoped authentication for machine
callers, read tools first (tracking, quote status, documents), then
quote-request and booking. It is not available yet; when it ships, this page
and [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) will document the endpoint.

## For the humans building agents

The platform itself runs on agent workflows — [pricing](/product/pricing-agent/),
[email operations](/product/email-agent/), and
[back-office automation](/product/back-office-agents/) — all on approval-gated,
audited rails. If you're building freight agents and want a counterparty that
already speaks your language, [claim your business](/claim/) or sign in and
try it.
