From accepted quote to paid invoice, one system
Quote-to-order booking, multi-stop trips with route-optimized consolidation, dispatch by email and SMS, a secure driver portal, generated shipping documents, and AI-verified proof of delivery.
Quoting is where CargoCloud starts, not where it stops. The platform executes the whole shipment lifecycle: booking, trip building, dispatch, in-transit tracking, documents, and invoicing.
Booking and orders
An accepted quote books into an order with a register-based financial architecture underneath — costs, revenue, and settlements are tracked per order, with role-based redaction so each party sees what they should.
Trips and consolidation
- Trips carry one order or many, with sequenced multi-stop support and per-stop mileage.
- The Consolidation Planner finds candidate orders that can share a truck and assembles multi-stop options, backed by Google’s Route Optimization API with cost allocated across the partial loads on the trip.
Dispatch and drivers
- Dispatch reaches carriers and drivers over email and SMS — SMS runs on an approved A2P messaging campaign, verified live in production.
- Drivers work from a secure, tokenized portal link: GPS location pings, freight photos, document capture, two-way messaging with dispatch, itemized expense submission with receipts, and per-driver pay statements.
Tracking
Computed ETAs with on-time, late, and no-data flags; order-level flags for missing documents, detention, and holdovers; and driver events that move shipment status automatically. A tracking agent escalates trouble on a graduated ladder.
Documents and verification
BOLs, rate confirmations, manifests, invoices, and driver settlements are generated server-side as PDFs — and delivery paperwork (PODs and BOLs) is verified by an AI model before invoicing relies on it.
Invoicing
Draft invoices are created automatically on delivery, with a register-based generation path, carrier and driver settlement documents, and an autonomous invoicing agent that sends ready invoices and escalates blocked ones.
